So we're only two weeks (ish) into session with a couple more to go. I'd like to say I've been taking really good care of myself and getting plenty of sleep.....yadda, yadda, yadda....not so much. It's hard, people. I have been trying to make sure I get a good breakfast in each day in the hopes of staying on track. By lunch the train gets a little swervy and by dinner I've completely fallen off the tracks. Oh, well.
In case you're looking for a new breakfast idea I highly recommend trying my smoothie recipe. I think it tastes super yummy and it really is a great way to start the day. I don't normally like cold
things for breakfast in the winter, but by freezing some of the ingredients as opposed to adding ice, I think it's easier on my system and doesn't give me the chills. Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 cups Kale
1/2 cup frozen sweet potato
1/4 cup frozen banana
1 cup frozen cauliflower
Yogurt of choice (I use Siggis)
1/2 cup almond milk
1 scoop collagen peptides
