A couple of weeks ago I had the distinct pleasure of spending an evening under the stars with friends at Dogwood Dell. Accompanying our Lee's Chicken picnic extravaganza, we listened to music that can only be described as magical. Our very own Richmond Symphony and Virginia Opera never disappoint, but this evening was particularly spectacular. From West Side Story to more classical selections to an off-the-program number from Rent, we LOVED....LOVED...LOVED. I hope everyone will make it a priority to see their concerts during the season as well. Speaking of Rent, how do you measure a year in the life? Let us hope many minutes will be filled with music!
