A Great Summer

For me, the unofficial start of summer is the Rose Roundup! My friends do a wonderful tasting every year in their backyard and I always look forward to it. My go-to dish to bring is roasted asparagus because it's fresh and super-easy to make. A little olive oil, salt and pepper for about 10 min at 400 degrees and you're in business. The key is a generous spritz of lemon juice when it's just out of the oven. Here's to a great summer!
