It's Friday, Love

{ Getting artwork and info together for our album which should be out in a couple weeks }
Another busy week, but good. Trying to ease into taking better care of myself and carving out time to get things done so I feel ready and prepared for everything the week throws at me. A lesson from a college theater professor keeps running around in my head.  He said everyone thinks actors have very glamorous lives. They don't. To do what they do they have to be prepared and healthy at every turn. If they aren't, there's 25 other actors ready and eager to take their place. As a naive 19 year-old I had my heart set to sing on Broadway, and although that didn't happen, the lesson still holds.

This weekend is our last training run for the Cap-2-Cap Bike Race next Saturday. Can't believe it's here we've been planning it for so long. A fun show on Sunday for the band and mellow time with Miss A in the backyard should round out the weekend. See ya Monday....
