Friends and Neighbors for Sub Rosa

Although I grew up on a cul-de-sac in the suburbs, I never felt like I lived in a neighborhood until I moved to Church Hill. There is a sense of community in our little corner of the city because the people who live here love it. It's not just houses, shops, and streets. It's people, small business owners, community leaders, and families. We support each other and that's why we thrive.

That support was never more evident than yesterday when we learned of the fire that displaced Sub Rosa Bakery and the tenants above. Although the bakery was insured, repairing the extensive water damage will not be without expense. A fundraising site was set up to aid with these costs so if you would like to contribute please check it out Friends and Neighbors for Sub Rosa. The thought of never eating another chocolate croissant or quiche from this amazing bakery literally make me want to cry so please help if you can. Hey....a hungry girl's gotta eat:). I hope you enjoy these shots of the bakery which I've used in previous posts. Thanks!
