{ This drink is great for early fall } |
I'm sure there's a formal name for this drink but I don't know what it is so I call it an Orange Ringer. I adapted it from a bartender's instructions years ago after a friend ordered something similar and we both fell in love. Bourbon is the base of this fabulous little cup of happiness but don't be intimidated if you don't normally use it. It has a wonderful flavor that reminds me of fall/winter and there are endless labels so I encourage you to find a favorite and make this drink your own.

{ Jim Bean has a lightness to it so I think it works well with this drink } |
Ingredients
2 parts Bourbon
1 part Grand Marnier
1 part Ginger Ale
Spritz of fresh orange juice
Slice of orange
How To
Mix the bourbon, Grand Marnier, Ginger Ale, and Orange Juice in a shaker over ice. Strain into a small glass and garnish with the orange slice. Then say "voila" very loudly as you raise your arms in the air. Your guests will be very impressed:).

{ You can still find good oranges for another couple weeks but later in fall/winter you could substitute apples } |

{ Hello Beautiful } |
This may be one that Kent (who likes bourbon) and I (who is not a big fan) can agree on! Will have to give it a try!!!!
