{Skirting the Issue from Essie}

It's been a busy week and I'm looking forward to the weekend and the start of festival season. The general joke is that you can't throw a rock and not hit a festival in Richmond. I'll have plenty of fun pics to share next week. 

On another note, Lena the pug has been a charming and courteous house guest. Miss Austen and I will miss her. As fun as it was to have her stay with us, I am looking forward to getting back to normal. Miss Austen and I are a great team. I parade around in different outfits and she, as my stylist, critiques them for me. We have a similar sense of style so generally she barks indicating that the outfit is a hit. Lena has a somewhat edgier aesthetic and it has caused some strife. Finding the right stylist, or dog, is very important. We love you Lena!
