[Artichoke and Pesto Soup] |
"It's bizarre that the produce manager is more important to my children's health than the pediatrician."
Meryl Streep
After I passed the 30 milestone (not far past for the record!) and realized I wasn't going to live forever I decided to go to the Doctor and get.....SHOCK......HORROR........A CHECKUP! I'm certainly not going anywhere tomorrow, but I do have a family history of heart disease. Insert frown. So I decided I needed to try and be healthier. As part of my new-found goals I have sought out restaurants with heathy/possibly vegetarian options. Don't get excited I don't mean pasta with cream sauce. I mean a chef who really knows what he's doing and cares about preparing delish options. The Mill on MacArthur always has a couple wonderful choices that make reaching my new goals easier.
