Mandy and Mike's Housewarming Party

[Having guests sign a framed family portrait is a wonderful way of making a memory]

"Home is where one starts from."

As you get older you realize "home" is not a structure or a place, it's people. This makes housewarming parties all the more important because as the name so aptly describes, it takes people to warm up a house and make it a home. My friends Mike and Mandy recently moved into a new house and had a fabulous housewarming party for family and friends. Below you'll find some great tips from the party to make yours special as well.

[Keep food bite size. This makes it easy to eat so you don't have a huge plate in one hand and a drink in the other]

[Have kid-friendly activities and snacks so parents can enjoy the party and not stress about options]

[Drink options are key]

[Fresh raspberries served in a signature drink, The Bayfront Way, gave the party a special element]

[Mandy, the hostess with the mostess!]

[Mandy and Mike's adorable little boy Parker]
[Serving desserts like cupcakes in smaller versions means guests can indulge and not feel guilty]

[Some handsome gentleman enjoying the party]

[Mike's mom Donna]

[The Brothers Herbert, Chris (L) and Mike (R)]

[These charming signs greeted guests]
